WE ARE ALSO VERY PROUD OF OUR STUDENTS FROM AULA DE APOYO E INTEGRACIÓN  WHO COOPERATED WITH US WITH A VERY NICE POSTER CREATED WITH THE HELP OF THEIR TEACHERS INMA AND SONIA⟵💗💗💗 Muchas gracias a todo el alumnado que ha participado en la exposición de este año de posters relativos a San Valentín, que han incluido frases de amor y amistad creadas por ellos mismos y citas de autores y cantantes famosos. 26 DE SEPTIEMBRE - DÍA EUROPEO DE LAS LENGUAS

Todos los años comenzamos el curso realizando alguna actividad para celebrar el Día Europeo de las Lenguas. En esta ocasión, alumnos de todos los niveles de Secundaria y 1º de Bachillerato han trabajado en diversos aspectos relacionados con los idiomas europeos y han elaborado posters que han sido expuestos en nuestro centro. 

La temática principal ha girado en torno a los préstamos lingüísticos (loans) o como ellos han llamado también "palabras viajeras", es decir, vocablos que teniendo su origen en un idioma, se han trasladado a otro/s para formar parte de su lengua también. 

Así, se han sorprendido al reconocer que muchas palabras que usamos a diario en una lengua ya procedían de otra y que también algunas de nuestras palabras castellanas "viajaron" para quedarse  en otros idiomas.

Por otro lado, un grupo de alumnos ha utilizado sus propios nombres para aprenderlos en otros idiomas, al tiempo que descubrían su etimología o el significado que su nombre encierra.

Por último, otro grupo ha elegido la palabra que más les gusta para aprenderla en idiomas diferentes y representarla en variados posters.

             Halloween ´18 is over, but it left us a few scary posters which our ESO students designed and presented to this year´s competition. Here are the winners: 

INDIVIDUAL: Rodrigo Sánchez Sánchez (1º ESO F)
GROUP: María Luque, Eva Palomo, Celia Nicolás, Daniela Williams, Alexia Sánchez y Claudia Rodríguez. (2º ESO C)

Rodrigo made a poster inspired in the film THE NUN and the girls dressed up like the scary doll ANABELLE. There was a jury of 14 teachers who voted not only the most original pictures but also the quality of the description and the language used.

Here are some of the other wonderful and spooky  posters that the students made and are still displayed on our school walls.

 Congratulations to all of you and thank you for taking part in this competition!! And thank you very much to the AMPA who cooperated with us another year with a gift for the winners!
