El pasado 7 de marzo se celebró la II Jornada de la Francofonía, organizada por el Departamento de Francés y en la que este año ha contado con la colaboración de nuestro Departamento. 
Para ello, la profesora Chelo García y su alumnado de 1º del Ciclo de Gestión de Alojamientos Turísticos han creado una serie de juegos para que el alumnado y profesorado asistente al evento hiciera una parada entre degustación de plato y plato de inspiración francesa.
En nuestro stand, hemos querido mostrar que la lengua inglesa tiene un importante número de vocablos procedentes del francés (French Loans). Estos "préstamos" se utilizan a diario por los hablantes anglosajones sin haber reparado nunca en su origen francés.
Los participantes tenían que realizar primero un juego de tarjetas con imágenes que debían colocar en un tablero sobre la palabra correspondiente (que es la misma en ambos idiomas, ¡e incluso en español en muchos casos!). Posteriormente, han jugado a nuestra propia versión del Tabú, debiendo definir en dos minutos el máximo número de palabras que a su vez debían ser acertadas por otro compañero participante.

On March 7, the II Francophonie Day was held, organized by the Department of French and in which this year it has had the collaboration of our Department.
To this end, teacher Chelo García and her students of the 1st year of the Cycle of Tourist Accommodation Management have created a series of games for the students and teachers attending the event to make a stop between tasting French-inspired dishes and plates.
At our stand, we wanted to show that the English language has a significant number of words from French (French Loans). These "loanwords" are used daily by Anglo-Saxon speakers without ever having noticed their French origin.
The participants first had to make a set of cards with pictures that they had to place on a board over the corresponding word (which is the same in both languages, and even in Spanish in many cases!). Subsequently, they have played our own version of Taboo, having to define in two minutes the maximum number of words that in turn had to be correct by another fellow participant.
In the photos, you can meet the winning and finalist students, who have been treated to a succulent breakfast in the cafeteria of our school.
