St Valentine´s Corner

Con motivo del día de San Valentín, los alumnos de Secundaria, además de los del Aula Específica y sus profesoras, han colaborado en su celebración realizando y exponiendo los posters creados por ellos mismos, en los que rindieron homenaje al Amor y la Amistad. La temática incluye declaraciones de amor, títulos de canciones, hechizos o conjuros para conquistar o recuperar a la persona amada, reflexiones sobre el amor y la amistad, e incluso citas literarias de autores de habla inglesa, como Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde o Mark Twain. Todos sus trabajos han sido expuestos en el llamado St Valentine´s Corner, y podrá ser visitado durante toda la semana. ¡Gracias a todos los alumnos y profesores por colaborar en la celebración de este romántico día! SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY

Today is Saint Valentine's Day and the 1° Bachillerato B-C students  are celebrating love in a very unusual way. New couples appear every day thanks to social networks or dating apps or even TV programmes! We are trying to find our ideal match by "speeding dates" and that's what they are doing in this picture...

Well, in fact, they aren't the real students, but the characters they have invented!

The activity is taken from the British Council Learning website and consists of creating a personal file and then rotate asking and giving information always sitting in pairs and changing couples every two minutes. After they have "met" 4 or 5 couples, they decide which one is the perfect mate and give reasons for their choice.
